Progression rule to First Year: Minimum 50% pass mark in all modules.
The Foundation Pathways in Animation have specific progression requirements which have been set by the University of Hertfordshire School of Creative Arts.
Students wishing to progress onto the following level 4 integrated (Stage 2) programmes in:
• BA (Hons) 3D Games Art and Design
• BA (Hons) 2D Digital Animation
• BA (Hons) 3D Animation and Visual Effects
• BA (Hons) Comics and Concept Art
Are required to achieve an average mark of 80% (A) in the following Creative Arts modules:
• 0FTC1036/CAF100 – Practical Study Skills,
• 0FTC1038/CAF102 – Specialist Projects 1 and
• 0FTC1041/CAF104 – Introduction to Media Technology.
These requirements are in addition to the standard progression requirements for every HIC Foundation Course – Pass every module with at least 50%.
Students who are unsuccessful at achieving the required average mark in the above modules will be offered an alternative change of course.
