Studying at the University of Hertfordshire through HIC has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The academic and emotional support that I receive from staff and lecturers made a huge difference, especially when coming into a new country, they always made me feel nothing less than home. Furthermore, classes are small, making them more focused on studies and making me comfortable asking questions, getting feedback, and connecting with my classmates. It felt like a community where everyone wanted you to be successful.

Living in the UK was exciting but also a bit overwhelming at first. The weather and the food were different but I adapted quickly as I love changes and challenges. The diversity here is amazing as you meet people from all over the world, which makes studying even more interesting. Exploring the monuments of the city, trying new foods, and exploring  British culture were a few things  I wanted to do.

Get involved in student activities, make friends, explore around, and do not be afraid to ask for help. Moreover, time management is vital, so prioritize your studies while also making time to enjoy. Studying at HIC and living in the UK has been an incredible journey, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great education and a life-changing adventure.

Pre-Master’s in Creative Arts Pathway

My time at Hertfordshire International College (HIC) while doing a Pre-Master’s in Creative Arts was amazing and set me up perfectly for my Master’s in Interior Architecture and Design. From the start, I felt so welcomed and supported by the lecturers and the college staff, making my transition into postgraduate studies both smooth and enjoyable.

The lecturers at HIC were fantastic! Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine dedication to teaching created such a lively learning atmosphere. I was encouraged to unleash my creativity and develop my critical thinking skills. They offered tons of valuable feedback and guidance, making sure I was ready to tackle the academic challenges ahead. The modules were thoughtfully designed to bridge the gap between undergraduate and master’s-level studies, giving me the skills and confidence to shine in my chosen discipline.

All in all, my time at HIC was transformative. I gained the knowledge, skills, and confidence to successfully pursue my Master’s in Interior Architecture and Design. I wholeheartedly recommend HIC to anyone looking for a supportive and well-structured path into postgraduate studies!

My time at Hertfordshire International College has been absolutely life-changing, both personally and academically.
