Architecture Overview

At Hertfordshire International College, we’re not just teaching architecture; we’re shaping the future of dynamic, purposeful design.

Join us at either Foundation or First Year integrated pathway level here in the UK, and let your architectural journey unfold. Our pathway is a dynamic blend of technical expertise and visionary concepts, which go beyond conventional learning, exploring how structures enrich urban spaces, revitalise the environment, and energise social areas.

  • ARB Part I prescribed (or exempted) and RIBA Part I validated
  • Affiliation with RIBA Association of Architects (East and Herts)
  • At Foundation Level no portfolios are required.

Foundation

  • Interactive Learning Skills and Communication
  • Introduction to Media Technology
  • Practical Study Skills (30 credits module)
  • Business Studies
  • Introduction to Mass Communication
  • Specialist Project (30 credits module)

Progression rule to First Year: Minimum 50% pass mark in all modules.

First Year (Integrated)

HIC provide subject specialist skill progression classes during First Year (Integrated).
